Fantastic service from Simon and the car auction buying service. I’m actually in the trade but opening an account with the auction house I would have had a buyers premium of £999 on top of the hammer price. Needed a car that week and all sorted within 4 days. 2 days looking, 3rd day payment processed, 4th day collected car. Excellent support and advice from CABS, quick response times and able to access trade discounted prices for the type of car I wanted - ex lease, sold off after 2-3yrs. Chose to collect as local but could have arranged delivery at a good price through CABS. I am very impressed with the service provided by the Car Auction Buying Service. Simon was very patient and provided very helpful advice and valuations on cars I was interested in. After a few attempts I was successful and am very pleased with the vehicle. I was able to collect the vehicle myself and Simon guided me through the process from start to finish and it all went very smoothly. Great communication. Great service. Full disclosure, I didn't complete a sale - as I found a car outside of auction, but Simon was great with information, a clear purchase process and detailed information on cars I had an interest in.

This is the second time we've bought in a car through the Car Auction Buying Service this year, this time a car for my husband, and we can only thoroughly recommend them. They were brilliant throughout both purchases. The first time we bought, we got the car we wanted very quickly, the second time took a little longer, but Simon was incredible throughout. He was very patient with our requests, making sure we got the car we wanted, without pushing us in anyway, offering consistently sound advice throughout the whole process. Even down to organising delivery to our home with each purchase at very reasonable rates. A brilliant service both times, and a great way to save significantly on normal retail costs for a car. Simon is very helpful and patient, and I'd highly recommend this auction buying service whatever your budget for a used car.

When I found a car I was interested in, the CAP pricing was provided so I could make an informed judgment on my maximum bid. Some car prices are still quite high, so popular brands/models can still command high prices if there's interest from other dealers.
After the auction ends, Simon sent a video showing a screen capture of the bidding process.

Professional throughout. Patient. Missed a few but got what I wanted and saved quite a bit. Looking at forecourt prices at the time probably saved. £3000-£4000. Paid auction house direct and 2 days later the car was sitting on my drive.
