So, ill admit that i was a bit skeptical - at one point i was worried i was about to be scammed but the account details Simon gave me were the same as those on the BCA website so i pulled the trigger!  ......And do you know what, i wouldn't buy a used car another way again!  Simon made it so easy, was incredibly responsive at all stages of the process and I've got a great deal on a great little run around.  Essentially, my logic was that the auction surveys are better than trusting myself to kick tires on a private sale in the hope of being able to spot a lemon before it was too late (my car knowledge is shockingly bad) - and if i did manage to find a reliable little run around id be cutting a dealers profit out of the deal as most dealers are sourcing their cars from the auctions anyway.  With Simons help - it worked.  We set a fair bid and we won the first car we went for.  He bid £50 over my top bid of £4000 and we won the car.  With Simons fee and the auction fees ive paid about £4700 for a car that would have been about £6000 private sale or £7000 from a dealer.  Simon also has good deals on warranty's so you can get the piece of mind you would using a dealer if you wanted too anyway. Very pleased with service.

I had successfully used a business where Simon used to work before he started his own company and indeed dealt with him then as an employee, but they ran into difficulties over the Covid period.

Great service
They found and bought the car and spec that I wanted. Loads of advice along the way. You set the budget and they will work to find the best possible car from a reliable source at a super price. I personally saved  a couple of thousand pounds on the same car from a dealership

Brilliant service.  The fee was well worth it - using CABS reduced the auction fee by double what we paid CABS, so we got their skill and knowledge - and saved money compared with buying at auction myself.  Process was great, with videos of each auction confirming the hammer price - even when we lost out 😢.
A big plus for me was that we paid the auction direct, which felt secure.  Advice - don’t get carried away, pick out cars you want, don’t get attached to one in particular… be prepared to lose a few bids because sometimes auctions go a bit silly.
